Frequently asked questions

Here are answers to the most common questions about our pet sitting visits, in-home boarding, safety procedures, and booking policies. If you have any other questions, do not hesitate to reach out before booking.

What types of pets do you care for, and where does care take place?

We care for dogs and cats both in your own home where your pet feels most comfortable, as well as providing in-home boarding options depending on your pet's needs and preferences.

What experience do you have with pets with special needs or unique personalities?

We have extensive experience caring for dogs and cats of diverse temperaments and routines, including pets that are shy, energetic, or require specialized daily care. We take the time to learn your pet's distinct cues and comfort zones.

How will you keep me updated while I am away?

We believe you should never have to wonder how your pet is doing. You will receive frequent updates, messages, and photos during every visit so you can see your pet happy, relaxed, and thriving.

How does a free meet-and-greet work?

We offer free meet-and-greets for all new clients. This visit allows your pet to get comfortable with us and gives you the opportunity to review daily routines, ask questions, and ensure we are the perfect match for your family.

How do I book a visit or reserve sitting dates?

Booking is easy and stress-free. Simply send us a message or request a service with your desired dates. Once we confirm your pet's routine and availability, your booking is officially secured.

What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?

We offer flexible cancellations up to 24 hours prior to a visit at no charge. For short-notice cancellations within 24 hours, a small fee may apply to cover the reserved time. We are always happy to reschedule whenever possible.

How do you handle medications and medical emergencies?

We follow all medication and supplement instructions precisely as demonstrated during the meet-and-greet. In a rare medical emergency, we assess the situation immediately, contact you right away, and coordinate transport to your preferred veterinarian or the nearest emergency hospital.

Are you bonded and insured?

We are currently actively working toward finalizing our formal bonding and pet-sitting insurance. In the meantime, we prioritize the highest standards of safety, transparency, and responsible one-on-one care for every pet we look after.
